Modest Mouse
Ugly Casanova
Lemon Demon
Aaron Ackerson
Pink Floyd
Genesis
Built to Spill
Treepeople
The Pixies
The Who

I actually saw Roger Waters of Pink Floyd in concert last year playing "The Wall". MOST AMAZING SHOW EVER!

Re: Music

Just saw the music video to "Mein Land." I gotta admit, the first few minutes made me wonder what the hell the band was thinking. I think my primary thought was "They followed up Ich tu dir Weh and Haifisch with this?"

But the ending made everything better. I wanna be at the Rammstein beach party!

Re: Music

Most obscure band?

I live in the US, and "obscure" can mean bands that aren't stocked BY ANY GODDAMN MUSIC SHOP IN THE VICINITY.

So, let's see... That would cover Eisbrecher, Megaherz, Oomph!, and E Nomine.

Of those, I think E Nomine is the least known, so they're the most obscure.

Re: Music

Oh god, I went back through some of Oomph!'s music videos, and their latest one may have broken me.

"Zwei Schritte Vor", from the founders of my favorite genre.

And THEN I made the mistake of thinking that it was an isolated incident, and got hit square in the face with Gekreuzigt 2006

I don't know anymore.

So yeah, both of those are NSFW, and the second one is a bit creepy. But I just wanted to post about these somewhere.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to make sense of my life now.

(By the way, both of those songs are amazing, the latter one more so. It's just the videos that make me wonder what these people smoke on a regular basis)

Re: Music

It used to be Daft Punk for me, but I've moved on to Breakbot, AKA "Disco Jesus". No joke. He makes some of the boopinest tracks out there.

Have a listen! That's from his debut album, "Happy Rabbit." I can't find all the tracks together anywhere, but I've found them as seperate downloads, and the rest of the album is great. Also, in 2012, he released his big album, "By Your Side" Which sounds a lot like Discovery from Daft Punk. Here's the hit track from that album. #wow #whoa
